Elephant Larry, our Best of New York winner for Best Comedy Ensemble, have tackled everything from sexually confused ninjas, to cuddly vampires, to an employee sent to the doctor’s office to take a “retard test” by his boss. Tonight, they bring their brand of absurd sketch comedy to Joe’s Pub for an evening of laughs, with special guests including musician-comedian Adira Amram and sketch duo Adam and Trevor. You can also cheer them on at Monday’s ECNY awards at Comix (see our “Monday” page); the troupe was nominated for two awards: Best Sketch Comedy Group and Best Short Comedic Film (check YouTube for the film “What Do You Want on Your Tombstone?”).
