Roll out the red carpet (loaded with banana peels)—you’re invited to attend New York’s 6th Annual ECNY Award show, honoring the hottest emerging comics in New York City, where, instead of a little gold man, winners receive a trophy shaped like a jackass. Join funnyman Jon Friedman, from Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, as he hosts for the third time what is sure to be a scintillating show, with musical performances and special appearances by such talented folk as Sara Benincasa, Kumail Nanjiani, Sara Schaefer, Reggie Watts, and Andrew W.K. Awards will be handed out in 15 different categories, including Best Male and Best Female Stand-up Comedian and Best Comedic Short Film, and, new this year, Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Tweeting, as well as Best Comedic Book.
