The Armory Show, that gigantic art fair featuring more than 200 dealers from around the world, returns to New York this week, and with it, myriad smaller art fairs, talks, performances, and parties. While the Armory Show is happening on Piers 92 and 94, the rest are scattered around the city. We like Volta NY (7 West 34th Street), an edgier version of the Armory Show, which opens with a celebration at the Ace Hotel tonight at 10 p.m,, and Armory Arts Week Brooklyn Night, happening Saturday from 6 to 10, in which all the Williamsburg galleries will be open and ready to party.
