Have dinner with author Sam Lipsyte
When our Fork in the Road food blogger Rebecca Marx asked author Sam Lipsyte what his last meal would be—a good question, because a character in his uproarious new book The Askdreams of producing a death-row cooking show—he said it would be a Big Mac. Yes, Lipsyte is our kind of guy. Tonight, he'll be reading from The Ask after a lovely buffet dinner (which we don't think will involve anything resembling Big Macs) as part of BAM's Eat, Drink, and Be Literary series, which will also include a conversation with Lipsyte, moderated by Daniel Menaker, editor-in-chief of Random House Publishing Group.
