Kerretta

The ol' instrumental post-rock thing is still alive and well; just take this three-piece from Auckland, New Zealand. Unlike lots of vocal-less, rhythmically angular bands, Keretta's debut, Vilayer, packs in guitar and keyboard hooks that are downright catchy, meaning you don't really miss the vocals. The heavy pummelings appeal to the Pelican/Red Sparrowes metalgazers, while the kraut/New Wave-y bits will catch the ear of Secret Machines fans. With Love of Diagrams.
