SATAN’S LITTLE HELPERS

666 returns for an extended run

The poster for Madrid-based physical-theater company Yllana’s prison-set 666just about says it all: It features four guys decked out in devil horns, orange robes, and phalluses hanging down to their knees. A hit at last year’s Fringe Festival (though there were reports that some offended theatergoers walked out), 666 contains loads of well-executed slapstick comedy, ample nakedness, and a chance to be sprayed in the face with substances meant to look like bodily fluids. What more could you ask for? Apparently, the show’s meant to be a social critique of the death penalty—though it’s likely you’ll be laughing too hard to notice.
