Dir. Jack Kinney (1949).
The combining of two classic stories in vintage Disney styleWashington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in the Willowsin this one short feature, was Disney's final package movie of the 1940s. It's quality stuff, artistically on a higher plane than most of the technically advanced animation being turned out these days. Both stories bear witness to the studio's leadership in storytelling and character animation at that time.
