Dan Savage, nationally renowned columnist of "Savage Love," may know a thing or two about sex, but one concept that remains a mystery even to him is how two penises can make a baby. Savage and his boyfriend, Terry, went the adoption route to solve that problem, chronicled in his 2000 memoir, The Kid: What Happened after My Boyfriend and I Decided to Go Get Pregnant. Those exploits are now musicalized by Andy Monroe, Michael Zam, and Jack Lechner in The Kid, directed by Scott Elliott. Christopher Sieber, of Broadway's Shrek and Monty Python's Spamalot, stars as the naughty wordsmith himself.
Mondays, Wednesdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 2 p.m.; Tuesdays, 7 p.m. Starts: April 16. Continues through May 29, 2010
