'Chris Alker Presents Less Than Zero'

It's a disorienting party premise: Named after Bret Easton Ellis's debut tale of the Los Angeles rich-kid underworld (titled itself in tribute to Elvis Costello's '70s new wave song) and set in the basement of a Texas-themed restaurant (named for the Lone Star State's artiest town), the night pays tribute to the '80s New York underground. Lead nostalgist Chris Alker is the Texan who founded Brooklyn's Subtrak Records. With Sushi Steve (Professor Falken) and Derek Marin.
