'Silver Apples+Oneida with the Joshua Light Show'

Don't call it a comeback, either for Simeon Coxe III's Silver Apples or for the Joshua Light Show; never mind that the East Village scene that once nurtured them has long since slid into condominium purgatory. Silver Apples came back around in the mid-'90s when rock bands realized that synthesizers and oscillators (the Apples' primary musical devices) could be used as well as guitars, and the Light Show has never really dimmed, merely set up residency in Brooklyn. With Oneida, who know a good deal about deploying the Apples' brand of rock mesmerism to head-expanding effect.
