The Joshua Light Show takes over the Abrons Arts Center for four nights of collaborations with some of the headier travelers on the DIY highway, including Brooklyn's Woods and New England yurt-dwellers Matt Valentine and Erika Elder. Capable of going full-jam in their Woods Family Creeps formation with aid from tape manipulator G. Lucas Crane, the Brooklyn quartet should do just fine beneath Joshua White's vintage projections. Like the best hippie outfit, the prolific MV & EE's songwriting is perfunctory, getting in the way of ambitiously hit-or-miss cosmos-shredding. White will surely point them ever higher.
