The Glee cast stomps hallowed floorboards
Anything that brings a singing, dancing, “Vogue”-ing Jane Lynch into the limelight is A-OK with us—and also clearly passes muster with the Peabody Awards, who bestowed a prize to Glee last year. Fox’s sitcom has done its utmost to make musical theater cool again, reinventing pop and rock ditties into grand choral productions; the next, natural windfall of this invades Radio City with Glee Live!, three nights of William McKinley High School’s New Directions Club climbing and caterwauling all over that grand stage. All inner theater nerds need apply.
