Gorguts+Krallice+Portal

Death-metal group Gorguts are known for stuffing finger-twisting guitar techniques into songs with such disgusting titles as "Rottenatomy" and (puke) "Odors of Existence." Their early '90s records set a standard for academia-level musicianship in death metal, which inspired the members of tonight's openers, local black-metal group Krallice. Want proof? Gorguts' Colin Marston is actually pulling double duty in Krallice as the latest addition to that group's seeming revolving door of members. Also not to be missed tonight is Portal, an Aussie black-metal group whose singer wears a grandfather clock mask. Seriously. With Bloody Panda.
