In 2008, Peter Wolf—the voice behind J. Geils Band and their hits "Centerfold" and "Freeze Frame"—reignited his career after a 20-year drought by touring with Kid Rock's band to sing the Geils hit "Love Stinks" (that song from the commercial with the sad squeegee mop). He would also return for encores of "Centerfold" and, uh, Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth." He recently released Midnight Souvenirs, which features a few unlikely guests of his own: Shelby Lynne, Neko Case, and Merle Haggard. Turns out Kid Rock was right for once. With Kenny White.
