As a result of last year's successful Hola Mexico Film Festivallaunch, the fest that exposes the very best of Mexican cinema is back—with one special film that we're dying to see. The festival kicks off with Seguir Siendo: Café Tacvba, a documentary about the most acclaimed alternative rock band from Mexico, and we hear some of the band members will be at the screening and party. Several films at this showcase deal, naturally, with immigration issues: Norteado (Northless) is a story about a man who intends to cross the U.S. border, but ends up working in Tijuana and realizes what he'd be leaving behind. The documentary Los Herederos (The Inheritors) is a portrait of children who work in the Mexican countryside and remain captive in a cycle of inherited poverty and a daily struggle for survival.
