Moving from South Street Seaport to Governors Island this year, the fourth annual NY Brew Fest, presented by Heartland Brewery, features live bands and samplings of more than 300 beers from about 100 outstanding breweries from around the world—though, with our own Brooklyn Brew Shop and Brooklyn Brewery represented, who needs Duvel, right? Everyone gets a four-ounce glass at the door for sampling. And, if you need a break from all the drinking, sit in on a beer seminar like “Beer and Chocolate” or “Women in Beer” (no—sorry, guys—they’re not actually in the beer).
