Last year's Reflections gave us a new view of the celebrated guitarist—his romp through standards was a bit more aerated than his previous elaborations on originals. That breathing room was nonetheless crammed with creativity, and the foursome he brings to the famed cellar seems an apt crew for further explorations into Rosenwinkel's increasingly broad songbook. He didn't earn all those six-string acolytes for nothing. Wonder how Andrew D'Angelo is going to give the proceedings a hot foot?
