The city's best Afro-Latin party is all about the Dutty Artz label tonight, as digital-cumbia don Geko Jones is joined by one of his cofounders, DJ /Rupture. Since 2001's genre-busting Gold Teeth Thief through his weekly Mudd Up! podcast, DJ /Rupture has been one of the finest and most fervent curators of global bass. We'll also expect to hear Rupture and labelmate Matt Shadetek's new Tacos Matamoros-inspired track, and maybe some of Shadetek's new solo album, Flowers.
