These blog-buzzy Brooklynites debuted in 2003 with the aptly titled Tunes Nextdoor to Songs EP, but these days, Bear in Heaven are full-time residents of Ditty Town: Last years Beast Rest Forth Mouth is a hook-packed psych-pop delight, with all kinds of noodly electronic textures decorating frontman Jon Philpots dreamy melodies; in especially catchy highlights such as Lovesick Teenagers and You Do You, they sound like Grizzly Bear covering the Notwist.
