'Mister Saturday Night Presents Chez Damier'

The Music Institute looms large in techno biographies—it's where many of Detroit's best DJs and producers danced to Derrick May in the '80s before becoming innovators themselves. Chez Damier was one of the club's founders. The Kevin Saunderson and Ron Trent collaborator is a Chicago native (and has since returned), so it's no surprise that he culls influences from that city's house scene along with NY garage, tweaking a few decades of dance music into something that's uniquely his own and perfect for an evening outdoors. With residents Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin.
