Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock told Pitchfork last month that his Portland-based indie-rock crew is unlikely to road-test anything new on the U.S. tour that hits Brooklyn this week. Brock and the boys should still have plenty to play, though: Last year's No One's First, and You're Next EP scooped up some worthwhile outtakes from the last few years—request "Guilty Cocker Spaniels" tonight if only for its excellent title—and the band recently released a 10th anniversary vinyl reissue of its influential major-label debut, The Moon & Antarctica. With Portland's hippie-friendly Morning Teleportation, newly signed to Brock's Glacial Pace Recordings.
