Series regular on the CW's teen drama One Tree Hill and emerging pop-rock songwriter Mike Grubbs recently earned the ire of the Voice's Sound of the City music bloggers, who nominated his project for the inaugural "Worst Band Name in New York" award. It was probably that extra exclamation point that did him in. But the obnoxiously dramatic punctuation doesn't really reflect the bland spirit of his mundane and often needlessly mopey attempts to filter early-'00s emo confessionals through his piano. Worst. Idea. Ever.
