Drummer Joey Baron is a constantly moving encyclopedia of percussive flavors. Guitarist Bill Frisell, meanwhile, remains an implacable inner-mounting flame of languid riffs, ghostly echoes, and digital reiterations. Baron was part of Frisell's regular trio for several years in the '80s and '90s, and the duo have performed together intermittently ever since. Their repertoire includes jazz and country standards, originals, and full-on improvisation.
