Hey, whippersnappers! Eighty-two-year-old Mose Allison is back with a case of the blues. Joe Henry, ally to the elders, tastefully and sympathetically produced Allison's recent Way of the World, the influential Mississippi-bred pianist/songwriter's first album in 12 years. Full of typically mordant ruminations on aging in America, it's the logical bookend to a career ignited in large part by the Who's version of his "Young Man's Blues."
