Despite numerous bids in the '90s to revive his career to its former glory--going "cyberpunk," appearing on the Warped Tour in 2005, and appearing as Billy Idol in The Wedding Singer--Billy Idol seems to have finally realized that he's best off playing his hits. Still essentially the same living, breathing, crooning sneer who rocked cradles 20 years ago, the 54-year-old is nothing if not reliable. He's even kept on raven-haired AquaNet spokesman Steve Stevens as his guitar player (yes, he of Michael Jackson's "Dirty Diana" fame). So just keep your eyes on those two, and dance with yourself like it's 1984, and it'll be all right.
