LAUGH TRACK

Eugene Mirman and friends are back

Eugene Mirman has certainly had a busy year. He headlined the Pitchfork Festival’s first-ever comedy stage, returned to Jon Glaser’s Delocatedfor a second season, hosted the first comedy show at Celebrate Brooklyn! in Prospect Park, and was featured on an episode of This American Life. Phew! Now he’s putting on the third annual Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival, and he’s invited all his favorite funny people to join him, such as Emo Phillips, Hannibal Buress, Kristen Schaal, Daniel Kitson, and David Cross. Highlights of the four-day fest, which takes place at Brooklyn venues Union Hall, the Bell House, and the Rock Shop, include “Mike Birbiglia Interviews a Bunch of Sort of Authors and Sarah Vowell” on Saturday and “Wes and Eugene’s Cabinet of Wonders,” featuring Yo La Tengo, on Sunday.
