Tonight's headliners Nachtmystium may have a black metal pedigree, but their psychedelic witches brew has toiled to make their new work, Addicts: Black Meddle: Part II, into something akin to extreme metal stuffed with New Wave and sing-along punk. Zoroaster broadcast from the dark side of the bell-bottom, sludgy riffs wah-wah pumped into the psych-rock trip out-sphere. Atlas Moth deconstruct complicated Mastodonian guitars into stylized karate kicks to the groin; Dark Castle are a male/female drum/guitar two piece excelling at atmospheric doom.
