Nick Zinner was studying to be a photographer until he met Karen O and happily agreed to a life of beer-soaked nights as the lead guitarist of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. But he never put the camera down and now has three photo books that document all the late-night debauchery and lazy afternoons of life on the road: No Seats on the Party Car, Slept in Beds, and I Hope You Are All Happy Now. Tonight, he’ll be discussing his fourth book of photos Please Take Me Off the Guest List, which features essays by Zachary Lipez and design by artist Stacy Wakefield, who both collaborated with Zinner on his previous books. Katherine Lanpher, the former co-host of Air America’s The Al Franken Show, interviews the rocker/photographer.
