The 8th Annual Burlesque Festival, which kicked off Thursday, has its grand finale tonight with the Golden Pastie Awardsto honor these hardworking tassel twirlers. Hosted by Miss Astrid, the bawdy lineup of entertainment includes Kitten on the Keys (from San Francisco), Midnite Martini (Colorado), Burlesque Noir (New Mexico), Sassy Catch (Western Australia), Tatah Dujour (Key West), and local favorites Nasty Canasta and Helen Pontani. A double-D-size Golden Pastie will be awarded to winners in categories ranging from “The Performer You Wouldn’t Want to Tussle With in a Dark Alley” to “The Last Performer in NYC to Not Get Completely Naked.”
