From video artist Laurie Jo Reynolds, who creates works to impact prison reform, to the Danish art collaborative Superflex, whose projects engage economic forces, the two-day Creative Time Summit: Revolutions in Public Practice 2, which started Saturday, is all about bringing artists and art lovers together to discuss new ways art can bring about social justice. More than 40 cultural producers will give quick 10- to 20-minute presentations, including the art collective Bruce High Quality Foundation; feminist author, educator, and artist Julia Bryan-Wilson; and Beirut-based art activist Christine Tohme. Tickets are sold out, but there may be a limited number for purchase at the door; arrive at 10 a.m. for the chance to buy one.
