Not to be confused with Chocolate Genius, Mike Hadreas's self-contained band fully broke out this year, and now he's headlining this venerable club. What's allowed him to connect so quickly? Maybe it's his overly-personalized songs matched by his overly-personalized videos, which arguably put him in league with Girls' Christopher Owens (except Hadreas is more lithe and stripped-down).
