And you thought you’d never need your Big Wheel again
Unless you haven’t grown since you were four, riding a Big Wheel as an adult is about as awkward as competing in a three-legged race. Which is exactly the point of Fluff’s Events third annual NYC Great Big Wheel Race, in which adults (and some hotshot kids) dressed as superheroes race down the Great Hill in Central Park. Bring a Big Wheel, trike, skateboard, or create your own velocipede (the only rule: The seat must, at its lowest point, be lower than 12 inches for maximum difficulty). If you don’t have a ride, the organizers will likely have plenty of extras for you to borrow. Riders compete for prizes in categories such as Best Ride, Best Design, and Fourth Place.
