With Arcade Fire claiming all the headlines about indie rock taking over the charts, it's hard to remember that this local band had a red-hot debut last year. Of course, fellow locals Vampire Weekend stole some of their thunder, these guys and girl keep providing shiny, happy garage-pop that's not air-headed or too polished. Surely they can still have a place in Best Coast-loving indie kids' hearts, right? Hope so. With the Blow, Screaming Females, Yuck, and Young Man.
