For two nights, the folks behind the super-fun museum party PopRally will convert MOMA into a house of horrors with sights of slimy green monsters, psychopaths running loose with chainsaws—and that’s just during the costume reception. Each night of PopRally’s A Monster Mash offers you your pick of two scary movies: Tonight, witness one of the greatest horror films of all time, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974), or the googly-eyed giants (before CGI had their way with them) in Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster (1965). On Saturday, catch the classic Night of the Living Dead (1968) or our favorite horror-comedy Ghostbusters (1984). Both nights feature a cocktail party with the spooky tunes of DJ Physical Therapy, DJ $hayne (Hood by Air), and DJ Venus X of Ghe20 Gothik.
