Staff members at Shops at the Loom, the newly renovated textile mill in Bushwick that houses a slew of quirky local stores, have been hosting an event on the first Friday of every month to draw in customers. But tonight is not your average shopping experience . . . that is, unless you don’t mind shopping among the undead. Tonight, you’re invited to take off your make-up, unbrush your hair, and be America’s Next Top Zombie at the Zombie Fashion Show. Aside from getting to be dead in a fashion show, you’ll get a chance to see artwork from local artists, such as Stella Belikiewicz’s collage quilts, get your nails done at Tomahawk Salon, and customize your own silkscreen tees at the Bushwick Print Lab, all while sipping on complimentary drinks. Oh, and no need to perfect your catwalk moves, the more awkward the better.
