Photographer Vincent Cianni explores how DADT has had a serious impact on the lives of service members in a new documentary, Gays in the Military: How America Thanked Me. Cianni previously used his talents to create the book We Skate Hardcore, which documents Latino in-line skaters from Brooklyn's Southside. His latest work combines photography with live interviews of gay and lesbian active-duty personnel and veterans—including a 91-year-old veteran of World War II.
