Rocksteady legends Toots & the Maytals were instrumental in transitioning their native Jamaica's music of choice from '60s ska to full-on reggae music (their song "Do the Reggay" was one of the first to use the word.) They would go on to be covered by the likes of the Specials, the Clash, No Doubt, Amy Winehouse and even Melt Banana. Four decades later, they remain a dynamic live band that can carry a tune better than Winehouse and Stefani combined. With Fear Nuttin' Band and ?uestlove.
