Magda is best known for her work with Richie Hawtin and his M_nus label, but she's increasingly getting props as an independent artist. She's a Dancing Machine and her contribution to the Fabric series have confirmed her reputation as one of minimalism's most dynamic DJs, and now she's coming into her own as a producer, too. Her debut, From the Fallen Page, is a taut, dark delight. Fellow M_nusian Marc Houle most recently filtered his '80s-leaning techno through the bleakness of a Berlin winter to create his Drift album.
