Hanukkah just wouldn't be the same without indie rockers Yo La Tengo's (mostly) annual, usually star-studded eight-night stint at their hometown venue. Expect covers up to the quality which the group released on their 2006 WFMU comp, Yo La Tengo Is Murdering the Classics, and lots of surprise guests. Past years' residencies have welcomed David Byrne, Ray Davies, Ronnie Spector, and a bevy of comedians, including Sarah Silverman and Todd Barry. No dreidel necessary.
