You would undoubtedly feel like the coolest person on the planet if you were invited to a listening party of Daft Punk’s Tron: Legacy soundtrack in which the robot-suited musicians Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo were actually playing the album for you. Tonight, at Daft Punk’s Tron: Legacy Record Release Party, you can at least sort of pretend that’s what’s happening when cover band Faux Punk, dressed in the same futuristic costumes as their idols and mimicking their fist-pumping moves, spin the French duo’s greatest hits and music from the new album (which was officially released December 7). Giveaways and special guests to be announced.
