Prince Paul, who you of course know as the producer behind De La Soul’s Three Feet High and Rising and Grammy winner for Chris Rock’s Roll With the New, has just completed a new concept album with his 19-year-old son P.Forreal called Negroes on Ice. What we know about it via Prince Paul’s Facebook page is that it features cameos from Rock, Tim Meadows, Rosie Perez, and RZA, among others, and probably not much ice skating. The album has also inspired a father-son musical comedy show for the stage, which the two will perform tonight. Sacha Jenkins (of ego trip) directs the absurdity.
