Call us cheesy all you want, but around the holidays nothing brings out our soft side more than Frank Capra’s It’s a Wonderful Life. Sure, you could watch the Baileys duke it out with Mr. Potter at home on television, but nothing beats hearing, “Help me, Clarence. Get me back. Please, God, let me live again” on the big screen—or seeing Donna Reed’s daughter, Mary Owen, talk about the making of the film in person as she will at a select screening today! Now, if only the people from Jimmy Stewart’s hometown in Indiana, Pennsylvania, would rally together to raise enough money to save the Jimmy Stewart Museum from closing (apparently, Stewart’s fan base isn’t making the journey like they used to)—then it would truly be a Christmas miracle.
