JAM WITH THE BISCUITS

Philly eccentrics crash at Terminal 5

“Camp Bisco” may sound like a late-’90s Nickelodeon sitcom, but in actuality, it’s an ambitiously far-flung music festival that has lured Snoop Dogg, MSTRKRFT, and LCD Soundsystem to upstate New York. The three-day dystopia was founded by Philly electro-jammers the Disco Biscuits in 1999 as a middle finger to all the established festivals that wouldn’t hire them, and it’s matured into that rare sweet spot of concerts: impressively lucrative yet still D.I.Y. The same praise fits the Biscuits handily: An eccentric roots band with trance infusions, they’re a reliably engaging live experience that never feels conventional. With openers Raekwon (tonight), Holy Ghost! (Tuesday), and the Crystal Method (Wednesday).
