BREAKING THE LAW

A writer turns to crime

Would-be writers often turn to unsavory forms of employment: waitressing, proofreading, quasi-legal massage. But the aspiring scribe in this new musical by B.J. Sebring, David Forman, and Rob Hyman unwittingly finds a job in jewelry theft. Set in 1950s Queens, the high jinks play out to a samba, mambo, pop, and r&b soundtrack.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 3 p.m. Starts: Dec. 23. Continues through Jan. 16, 2010
