Yesterday, it was mere rumor, but today, it’s official: not content to confine its hysteria-inducing patties to the meatpacking district, Bill’s Bar & Burger will open it second location in Rockefeller Center.
Reps from B.R. Guest have issued an official release stating that the “highly-anticipated flagship opening” will take place in May 2010. The restaurant will be a meaty 10,000 square feet and occupy two levels, making it that much more attractive to all of the tourists who will undoubtedly stampede through it doors.
The restaurant will feature the work of local artists “who will release their creativity directly on the walls.” Hopefully, they won’t release it into the food, too.
