When the Limelight Marketplace opens this Saturday, it will number yet another food-related vendor among its ranks.
Whisk, the kitchen supply store, is the latest vendor to announce it will sell its wares where club kids and drag queens once found more pharmaceutical nourishment. The store, which opened on Bedford Avenue in 2008, sells a range of utensils, cookbooks, baking and cooking ware, and a pantry items like coffee, tea, and jam. Considering the original function of their new home, one hopes that Whisk will import their Julia Child saint candle to Manhattan, too.
