A $15 ticket gets you admission to a walk-around tasting of dozens of Brooklyn’s best and brightest new restaurants, as selected by the Metromix editors. The list so far includes Benchmark, Blue Bottle Coffee, Branded Saloon, Cariño, 1 or 8, Osteria Il Paiolo, Radish, Mile End, Fornino Park Slope, and St. Anselm. Plus, there will be beer specials to help you wash it all down. So, better don something with an elastic waistband tonight.

Tuesday, September 14, 6:30 p.m.

Experience the open-air markets of Kuala Lumpur and Penang right in the Meatpacking District as restaurants like Fatty Crab, Laut, Café Asean, and Betel hawk dishes inspired by such Malaysian street food favorites as roti canai, curry laksa, and nasi lemak — all for $4-$8 per plate. Plus, Malaysian cultural dances are sure to keep you entertained.
