'Audio Confessions Presents Bloody Mary'

Marjorie Migliaccio left her native Provence for Berlin, where she transformed herself into Bloody Mary and now produces/DJs what she calls "electro goth." Baudelaire inspired her 2009 album, Black Pearl, released on Jay Haze's label, Contexterroir. That she shrouds her music in literary references fits with her brainy, sophisticated dance aesthetic, but her sound is considerably brighter and more playful than her dark rhetoric would suggest. With Connie (ReSolute) and Sandy (Massive Groove).
