Jordana Che Toback you may know as the original choreographer behind the moves of art-rockers Fischerspooner. Clarinda Mac Low is best known for her creative participatory works at venues such as St. Mark’s Church, P.S.122, and . . . a park in Siberia. Now these two dynamic ladies are teaming up for the world premiere of A dinosaur attacks a lighthouse (Scylla and Charybdis), a collaborative duet in which they confront the monsters of their childhoods. The evening also includes Mac Low’s Double Public Blunder: Monster-us, a revival of her “Public Blunder” series where the mistakes made in the piece may or may not be intentional, and Toback’s Crush the Pearl, a re-working of the 10 dances she made from 1998 to 2001 for Fischerspooner, set to music by Radiohead.
