In case you haven't watched any TV teen dramas in the last few years, for which Lissie seemed to single-handedly provide the soundtrack, know this: the L.A. folkie's got connections from Band of Horses to Lenny Kravitz. She's even had her work remixed for the club circuit, and her 2010 debut, Catching a Tiger, helped continue the momentum. She is a convincingly sincere live performer, with a nice homey way about her.
